The blesbok (Damaliscus pygargus phillipsi) is a species of antelope restrictively native to South Africa and Eswatini. These animals are herbivores and can run at speeds up to 43mph when escaping predators such as cheetahs, leopards, lions, jackals, wild dogs, pythons and eagles. The natural life span of the blesbok is approximately 17 years.
