Framed African Moon Moth (Male)

The African moon moth (Argema mimosae) is a giant silk moth found widely in Eastern and Southern Africa, and first described in 1847. The tail-like structure of moth’s hind wings resemble dried out leaf stems, to camouflage in their natural environment.
