Framed Giant Malaysian Leaf Bug

The Giant Malaysian Leaf Bug (Phyllium giganteum) is the largest species belonging to the genus Phyllium, reaching over 4" in size and is found most abundantly in the west Malaysian tropics. The species has the ability to reproduce through parthenogenesis, meaning the females are asexual. It is most commonly females found in the wild; the first male of this species was not found until 1994.
