Framed Malayan Jungle Nymph

The Malayan jungle nymph (Heteropteryx dilatata) is a large species stick insect originating in Malaysia. 

They hold the record for the largest egg laid by an insect, at up to half an inch in length.

This particular specimen is a female and is framed in a 9.5” x 10.5” x 2” handmade wooden shadowbox.
