Chinese Praying Mantis (Female)

Tenodera sinensis

A non-native species that can be found in Ontario. Their egg cases are sometimes available in hardware stores and garden centres as a method of pest control. (A job they are highly ineffective at.)

Adults live for about 6 months or slightly more depending on care.
